Hello everyone. This is Ricky, author of The Pipil Saga. You probably know me as Milton Manrique Juarez. I know you guys have been waiting for my next book to come out for about a year now, and I’m sorry I haven’t been able to finish it yet. I was working on a long project that involves the Aztecs and Toltecs of Mexico while ITZALKU was still going through editing and publishing stages. Since ITZALKU was such a favorite among readers the demands to start a sequel started to push my inspiration into continuing that universe. Thus leading me to put that project on hold. To appease some anxious minds though, I decided to write a prequel to ITZALKU instead.      The new Novel is called KOSKATLAN, and it is the story of beautiful young Pipil girl who falls in love with the prince of KOSKATLAN and at the same time manages to get two gods to fight for her love. This is a long project that will take me at least another six months to finish. Another project that is nearly finished is the Emerald Pools. This is my first North American Indian story that involves the Pueblo people of the southwest of the United States. It is targeted to fifth grade students and up. It is full of mystery and adventure. I’m hoping to finish that one early next year.  I will release a sample chapter for this story very soon.
